Healthy and fat free foods are a better alternative for a healthy diet. Therefore, those people who want to lose weight for a healthy lifestyle should incorporate these foods into their diets to help limit their calorie intake.

Here are some of the healthy and fat-free foods:

Grains:
Grains do not contain fat in their natural state, though most people do not eat raw grains. There are healthy, fat-free products that can be used to make them more flavorful. Besides, there are a few bagels in the market that do not have added fats. Fat free grain sources are available in many cereals such as puffed wheat, bran cereals, rice and creamy wheat cereal.

Condiments:
While sauces and creams are fully loaded with fat, there are plenty of condiments that can be used to flavor food. Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and mustard are fat free and healthy as well. Vinegar comes in a wide range of flavors to add to fat-free flavor to dishes. Salsa is another fat-free condiment made with natural ingredients such as pepper, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime juice and parsley that can spice up a meal. A number of healthy barbeque sauces can be found on supermarket shelves.

Dairy products:
Dairy products are generally considered to be food products obtained from the milk of cows and buffaloes. Fat-free milk is really healthy as it contains all the nutrients of whole milk but has got 100 percent of the fat removed. Skim milk does not have any fats but still delivers a similar amount of calcium and protein to whole milk. *Dairy products made from skim milk are healthy and do not contain fats. Nonfat yoghurt is also fat-free, cottage cheese, like milk, comes in whole, 2 percent and fat free versions, also providing the same nutrients as fat-laden cheese. Ice cream made from skim milk is fat free and healthy.

Candy:
Owing to the fact that sugar does not contain fat, a larger number of candy products do not contain fat. Therefore, one can enjoy everything from orange slices to candy corn, hard candies and mints may have calories from sugar but are fat-free.

Fresh Food:
Most vegetables and fruits do not have fat in their purest forms. Avocadoes, coconuts are exceptions. It’s usually the butter, sauces and other toppings put on vegetables and fruits that increase the fat content. Most beans and legumes are fat-free in their natural form. Canned beans are completely fat free and are ready to eat. Fresh fruits and green vegetables assist in digestion hence are a healthy option. Keep in mind that good digestion is essential for burning fat that accumulates in the body.

Others:
Other healthy fat free foods include chicken and fish breasts since white meat has less fat compared to red meat. Bran breads are better than white whole wheat breads and should be consumed at least once a day perhaps in breakfast. Fruits such as oranges, apples, apricots and pomegranate are healthy fat free choices. Vegetables such as cauliflower, celery, carrots and broccoli are also healthy fat free foods. Avoid potatoes as they are quite rich in fat.

Fat free foods should be consumed by people who want to diminish the amount of fat consumed in the daily intake of food. Eating healthy fat free foods can be a major step to ensuring one has good health in their life.
